Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Process Engineer to provide technical support at the Winder, GA facility. You will interact with operations, design and modify facilities, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and drive improvements to yield, cost, and quality.

The role emphasizes process safety, hazard analysis, and training of plant personnel, with a focus on achieving Manufacturing Excellence and HS&E targets.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of Engineering experience in Process and Project Engineering areas.
• BS in Chemical Engineering or related field preferred.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Familiarity with OSHA, PSM, and environmental regulations.
• Experience with equipment sizing, process safety, and plant layout.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical expertise and day-to-day engineering support to the manufacturing facility.
• Design and modification of facilities; data gathering and analysis; troubleshoot and implement improvements.
• Lead safety reviews and ensure compliance with process safety standards.
• Monitor key metrics (yield, cost, quality, OEE) and drive continuous improvement.
• Train operators and maintenance staff on unit operations and chemistries.
