Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Quality Engineer in Winona, MN to provide technical leadership across safety, quality, productivity and cost. You will work with production teams, operators, and suppliers to ensure processes meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.

The role emphasizes lean and six sigma methods, process optimization, and continuous improvement. A four-year engineering degree and at least two years of manufacturing experience are required, with strong communication skills

Qualifications

• Four-year B.S. degree in Composite or Chemical Engineering is required.
• Must have strong communication with operators, suppliers and teams.
• Experience with lean and six sigma principles is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership to ensure safety, quality, productivity and cost targets.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes.
• Review production data and support quality issues and root-cause analysis.
• Maintain control documents and BOMs, and update routers to support on-time orders.
• Collaborate with Quality and Process Engineers and operations to resolve customer issues.
