Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of related experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical approach.
• Proven technical acumen.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement methods for sampling, inspection, testing and evaluation of products.
• Initiate process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and defect analysis.
• Execute duties while following safe work methods and plant safety rules.
• Lead new process and operations improvements with metrics and audits.
• Assist development of technical training for process engineering and Six Sigma/Lean methods.
• Develop troubleshooting guides for maintenance and operations personnel.
• Participate with EHS team to improve worker safety and minimize incidents.
• Drive change through cross-functional efforts between safety, manufacturing and quality.
• Develop engineering documentation: PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions, etc.
• Maintain regular reports to track progress and drive plant improvements.
• Mentor and help engineering qualification of junior staff.
