Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Process Safety R&I Engineer based in Bristol, PA, with periodic collaboration in Stamford, CT. You will provide Process Safety expertise across R&I projects, process development, scale-up, and manufacturing sites, and lead experimental studies to mitigate hazards.

The role requires a strong background in chemical/process safety, ability to work independently in multidisciplinary teams, and frequent cross-site collaboration. Travel ~25% is expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide Process Safety expertise to R&I projects and manufacturing sites.
• Define, execute and interpret experimental Process Safety studies.
• Take ownership of studies with high scientific quality and safety.
• Translate experimental results into safe process design recommendations.
• Develop Process Safety capabilities and share knowledge across teams.
