Job summary

Syensqo is seeking a Site Process Engineering Manager in Havre de Grace, MD to lead the site process engineering team and drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations.

The role focuses on safety, quality, and efficiency, with responsibilities spanning project management, capital investments, and cross-functional collaboration to deliver breakthrough manufacturing improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering preferred.
• 10+ years experience in quality/manufacturing/process engineering preferred.
• 2+ years experience in managing engineers preferred.
• Experience in quality/process engineering in manufacturing environment and leading a team.
• Continuous improvement background with problem solving and root cause analysis.
• Experience in composite/adhesive material manufacturing or similar continuous web industries preferred.
• Six Sigma Black Belt certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage the Site Process Engineering team to ensure proper project management and successful completion of project work.
• Lead site-based process engineering projects and activities driving continuous improvement, resolving chronic manufacturing issues, introducing new products or re-site existing products.
• Support and deploy Global Business Unit wide best practices and manufacturing standards, and support new capital investments and technology across sites.
• Promote an observable culture of process safety, quality, and customer service.
• Support short-term tactical requests while managing long-term strategic projects.
• Build a broad network across functions and locations and develop the team for their next position.
