Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Process Engineer for the North America Tech Deployment PMO in North Reading, MA. You will drive continuous improvement, analyze deployment data, and lead Lean initiatives to shorten deployment cycles while enhancing safety and quality.

The role requires cross-functional collaboration, strong data analysis, and project management skills to standardize processes across multiple sites and technologies in North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical) or related field
• Experience in standards, policies and programs development
• 3+ years in process engineering, improvement or operational excellence
• Experience with value stream mapping and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies
• Data analysis and metrics development to measure process performance
• Cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholders
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standard work instructions and SOPs for technology installations and deployments
• Analyze deployment data to identify trends and root causes of defects
• Lead Value Stream Mapping and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and improve cycles
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align on deployment standards
• Conduct site visits to observe installations and collect VOC feedback
• Drive lessons learned and implement corrective actions across the network
• Manage escalations related to process deviations and coordinate resolutions
