Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Process Engineer for the North America Tech Deployment - PMO to drive continuous improvement, optimize deployment processes, and ensure safe, high-quality technology installations across North America.

You will document SOPs, analyze deployment data, lead Lean/Six Sigma initiatives, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to standardize deployment practices and scale robotics deployments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Industrial or Mechanical) or related fields.
• Experience with standards, policies and programs development.
• 3+ years in process engineering, improvement or operational excellence.
• Experience with value stream mapping and Lean/Six Sigma methodologies.
• Proficiency in data analysis to measure process performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with multiple stakeholder teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop, document, and maintain SOPs and process documentation for technology deployments.
• Analyze deployment data to identify trends and root causes of defects.
• Lead Value Stream Mapping and Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to reduce waste and cycle times.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to align deployment standards and best practices.
• Conduct site visits to observe installations and gather VOC feedback.
• Drive lessons learned and implement corrective actions across the network.
• Manage escalations related to process deviations and coordinate resolutions.
