Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Chemistry, or Physics.
• 1+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Strong data analysis and Excel/Access skills.
• Experience with experimental design.
• Knowledge of CMMS like Maximo.
• Proficiency with SQL/PI Processbook/Databricks/PowerBI.

Responsibilities

• Provide process understanding and technical support for chemical technology and facility systems in optical fiber manufacturing.
• Diagnose and resolve process issues through data analysis and experiments.
• Lead cost reduction, process optimization, and new product introductions.
• Analyze key process metrics and implement response plans.
• Support startup of new equipment and maintain engineering documentation.
• Participate in plant safety initiatives and training.
