Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering) from an accredited four-year college.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools including Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, SQL, and statistical/visualization packages (e.g., JMP, Power BI, PI ProcessBook, Python)
• Experience with experimental design and data-driven process analysis in a manufacturing environment
• Experience supporting or leading structured product or process development projects

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for chemical, environmental control, and facility systems in optical fiber manufacturing.
• Analyze process data, design/execute experiments, and diagnose issues with SMEs.
• Lead or support cost reduction, process optimization, and NPI projects.
• Track process metrics and implement corrective plans.
• Support startup of new equipment; maintain docs and provide training.
