Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in a relevant field with no or limited professional experience.
• In-depth understanding of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and/or Design of Experiments (DOE).
• Experience with statistical tools (JMP, etc.).
• Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, or similar computing language.
• Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to learn new skills and technologies.
• Familiarity with laboratory work and semiconductor equipment, surface prep and material characterization.
• Ability to travel up to 25% locally or internationally.

Responsibilities

• Apply engineering principles to optimize processes per customer requirements.
• Write test protocols, perform DOE-based tests, and write completion reports.
• Collaborate to plan, collect data, analyze results, and report demos for existing processes.
• Compile and analyze data to determine next steps and set process limits and variables.
• Identify and propose solutions to complex problems using independent judgment.
• Communicate findings and proposals to upper management.
• Work cross-functionally with customers to understand roadmaps and business challenges.
• Train and mentor operators, technicians, and junior engineers.
