Job summary

MacDermid Alpha Electronics Solutions, part of Element Solutions Inc., is seeking a Process Engineer to optimize operations, improve first pass yields, and drive cost improvements under the Engineering Manager in Fremont, CA.

You will apply Statistical Process Control (SPC), write and modify work instructions, support pilot-to-full-scale manufacturing, and lead process engineering capital projects to sustain reliable production and quality across our wafer and packaging lines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from four-year university.
• 5–8 years related experience in a process engineering role.
• Over 3 years in chemical synthesis, preferably in batch operations.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and oversee SPC activities for critical processes.
• Control quality, cycle times, and safety in daily production.
• Identify root causes of out-of-control products and implement corrective actions.
• Manage Nonconforming Material Reports (NCMR) and drive root-cause resolution.
• Write and modify Work Instructions for existing products.
• Support transition from pilot to full-scale manufacturing with documentation and training.
• Lead process-engineering related Capital Projects.
