Job summary

Chemours is seeking a Process Engineer for the Fayetteville Works site in Fayetteville, NC. You will support Nafion IXM unit operations daily, troubleshoot manufacturing issues, and drive improvements in safety, quality, and efficiency across Operations, Maintenance, and Technology teams.

Required are a BS in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, strong communication, and a track record of applying engineering fundamentals to improve plant performance.

Qualifications

• BS degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering required.
• Demonstrated understanding of plant equipment and process systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide process engineering support for Nafion IXM manufacturing unit operations.
• Provide Process Engineering expertise for project work ensuring specs, standards and quality requirements.
• Lead process safety, product quality, yield, reliability, capacity, and cost-improvement initiatives.
