Job summary

IDEXX in Roswell, GA is seeking a Process Engineer in Manufacturing Process Development to design, scale, and optimize production processes for our diagnostics and related products. You will collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, and Quality to translate designs into robust, efficient processes on site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Strong problem solving with data-driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to write SOPs.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects.
• Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
• Knowledge of ISO 9000 standards and quality systems.
• Familiarity with Lean and Six Sigma principles.
• Experience with process validation, design verification/validation, and change management.
• Proficiency in MS Office and engineering software.
• Some SAP knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and run process development studies to improve capability and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing challenges and refine processes with teams and suppliers.
• Recommend and justify equipment and tooling; manage implementation to meet goals.
• Support process validation and technology transfer with appropriate verification.
• Develop methods for handling materials meeting design and safety requirements.
• Keep processes ISO compliant by setting specifications and test methods.
• Write SOPs and work instructions; train team members.
• Collaborate with Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering and vendors.
• Apply Lean and Six Sigma to drive quality improvements.
• Learn technical details of products and become go-to expert.
