Job summary

IDEXX Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Senior Process Engineer to lead reagent process development at our Roswell, GA site.

You will translate laboratory formulations into scalable manufacturing processes and help bring new diagnostic platforms to market, ensuring quality and efficiency. You will collaborate across R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, and external partners, mentor engineers, and apply Lean and Six Sigma to improve process performance.

Qualifications

• Experience in process development, scale-up, and manufacturing process design.
• Experience with process characterization, design verification/validation, and change management.
• Ability to design stability studies and implement process control strategies.
• Strong data-driven decision-making and DOE experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead process development, scale-up, characterization, validation, and technology transfer for new products.
• Scale lab formulations to production volumes while mitigating technical risks.
• Establish process parameters, specs, and test methods for manufacturing.
• Design and run process characterization, stability, and validation studies.
• Develop new synthesis and manufacturing processes from feasibility to readiness.
• Mentor engineers, influence technical strategy, and support cross-functional teams.
• Apply Lean principles to strengthen process performance and operational excellence.
