Job summary

EverZinc seeks a Process Engineer to plan, direct and coordinate engineering activities across the zinc operations with emphasis on safety and cost efficiency. You will oversee capital projects, analyze processes, and drive improvements while ensuring regulatory compliance.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Engineering with 5+ years of experience, proficiency in Lean and Six Sigma, and familiarity with AutoCAD; SAP is a plus. Travel ~40% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field; 5+ years of related experience.
• Lean and Six Sigma knowledge and practical application.
• AutoCAD experience; SAP experience is a plus.
• Understanding of engineering economics and compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all capital and major maintenance projects.
• Observe, analyze, and document production processes; recommend design changes.
• Improve manufacturing operations, quality control, process control, safety, yields and pollution control.
• Ensure equipment and processes comply with codes and regulations.
• Develop practical engineering solutions for production problems and bottlenecks.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives and monitor KPI-driven results.
• Coordinate with contractors and oversee outside teams on projects.
