Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and minimum 2 years in manufacturing engineering or operations.
• Lean Six Sigma training and experience preferred; problem solving and data-driven decision making.
• Experience with machining, aerospace or industrial gas turbines is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement manufacturing processes to meet production needs and quoted costs.
• Troubleshoot fixturing, tooling and parameter issues to resolve problems quickly.
• Design fixturing to increase yields and reduce human error.
• Time study and generate standard work charts; compare to quoted estimates.
• Use SPC and process capabilities to improve first-pass yields.
• Plan and develop new products (NPI) including tooling, routings and BOMs.
• Analyze data with Power BI to identify gaps and drive improvements.
• Support cost estimation for repeat production and NPI requests.
• Act as liaison with customers, suppliers and other Howmet plants on processes and drawings.
