Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering and at least 2 years engineering/operations experience.
• Experience in machining, aerospace or industrial gas turbines is preferred.
• Aerospace specification knowledge is preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CAD/CAM; working knowledge of statistical analysis tools; Lean/Six Sigma training.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot operations including fixturing, program and tooling issues.
• Design fixturing to increase yields and reduce human error.
• Time study to balance operator standard work and generate capacity data.
• Use SPC and process capability methods to raise first-time yields.
• Support cost estimating and NPI for new products.
• Provide technical shop-floor support and liaise with customers and suppliers.
