Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plans and formulates engineering programs within area of assigned responsibility.
• Implements and reviews process design for compliance with engineering principles, standards and customer contract requirements.
• Supports activities with technical development, customer issues, cost reduction programs and problem solving.
• Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications and drawing releases.
• Prepares project reports as necessary.
• Provides technical support for coating, brazing and/or manufacturing areas.
• Interacts with production staff and suppliers on processing requirements and technical issues.
• Performs process quality investigations and implements improvements and cost reductions.
• Designs tools and fixtures for processing and generates work instructions.
• Translates customer requirements into usable work instructions and interfaces with customers.
