PSI is seeking a Chemical Engineer for a direct-hire position at our large manufacturing plant. You will lead process optimization studies, conduct plant trials, and evaluate existing chemical processes to drive improvements and capital projects.

You will support Process Hazard Analyses and safety activities, deliver engineering calculations and design information, and provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians in a collaborative, safety-focused environment.

Formación

• Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering required.
• 1–5 years of process/chemical engineering experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with chemical manufacturing processes and equipment preferred.
• Ability to apply chemical engineering principles to troubleshooting, optimization and design.
• Familiarity with Process Safety principles and PHA participation is preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Perform process optimization studies, plant trials, and evaluations of existing chemical processes.
• Develop process design recommendations for improvements and capital projects.
• Support process safety activities such as Process Hazard Analyses (PHA).
• Prepare calculations, documentation, and design information for projects.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineers and technicians.
