Job summary

Accumold is seeking a Process Engineer to develop robust tooling and molding processes using scientific molding methods. You will support production of injection molded plastic parts in Micro Mold or Small Mold and collaborate with Project and Quality Engineers to ensure customer needs are met.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor’s degree in engineering with 8–10 years of processing experience in injection molding and a strong background in DOE and process validation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 8–10 years of injection molding processing experience with scientific molding.
• Proficient in conducting DOE studies and qualification tests (OQ/PQ).
• Strong knowledge of production tooling, safety, and quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust process on new tools using scientific molding techniques.
• Collaborate with Design, Quality and Project teams to meet customer needs.
• Troubleshoot molds and machines; perform minor maintenance.
• Document mold performance and maintain process logs.
• Mentor and train new employees; promote safety and ergonomics.
