Job summary

Cadrex is seeking a Process Engineer II to evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, reducing costs and improving sustainability. The role focuses on developing best practices within production and ensuring alignment with product specifications.

Responsibilities include supervising engineers, implementing process improvements, and oversight of project timelines. A strong background in LEAN and CAD tools is preferred, along with experience in high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in manufacturing engineering or related field; substitution allowed for 5 years industry experience.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and project management skills.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with minimal supervision.
• PC literacy; MS Office and internet use.
• LEAN principles knowledge or continuous improvement skills.
• Excellent organizational and workflow-analysis skills.
• Experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Solid project planning and management abilities for prioritizing tasks.
• Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
• CAD experience with 2D/3D tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD preferred).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage large project timelines and resources.
• Provide oversight to level I Process Engineers.
• Identify, recommend and implement process improvements.
• Determine equipment and tooling required to meet specs.
• Improve throughput through workflow and layout optimization.
• Maintain safe, reliable manufacturing systems while boosting production.
• Develop innovative process solutions.
• Enhance process capability and production volume while maintaining quality.
• Implement systems optimizing all production phases.
• Advise on corrective actions and ensure timely project completion.
• Prepare reports by collecting and summarizing data and trends.
• Assist in price quotes and job costing reviews.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge; participate in LEAN activities.
