Job summary

CADREX Manufacturing Solutions is seeking a Process Engineer II to evaluate new and existing processes, optimize manufacturing systems, and develop best practices across the production environment. The role focuses on reducing costs, improving sustainability, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.

The candidate will oversee projects, coordinate with level I engineers, and support process capability enhancements while maintaining quality standards and safety in a hands-on, high-volume

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong project management skills.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Working knowledge of LEAN principles or continuous improvement.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Skilled at workflow analysis.
• Experience with high-volume manufacturing.
• Ability to work in a multi-functional team environment.
• CAD experience with 2D/3D tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage large project timelines and resources.
• Provide oversight and guidance to level I Process Engineers.
• Identify, recommend, and implement approved methods or process improvements.
• Identify equipment, processes and tooling needed to achieve manufacturing goals according to product specifications.
• Improve manufacturing efficiency by analyzing workflow, space requirements, and equipment layout.
• Maintain reliable and safe manufacturing systems while improving production rates, efficiencies, yields, costs, and changeovers.
• Develop innovative solutions.
• Improve process capability and production volume while maintaining quality standards.
• Develop and implement systems that optimize all phases of the production process.
• Advise on corrective actions.
• Ensure projects are completed on time.
• Prepare product and process reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.
• Assist in price quote development and job costing reviews.
• Maintain professional and technical knowledge.
• Actively participate in LEAN manufacturing activities.
