G&W Electric Co in Bolingbrook, IL, seeks a Process Engineer II to sustain and improve epoxy molding processes, driving safety, quality, delivery and cost efficiency.

You will lead DOE and A/B testing, analyze failures, mentor staff, and collaborate across functions to advance molding techniques and shop-floor performance. This hands-on role is based in a world-class manufacturing facility with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, Plastics/Polymer Processing, or Materials.
• Strong experience with DOE and A/B testing.
• Knowledge of polymer rheology and testing methods.
• Experience with failure analysis using standard techniques.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and programs.
• Root cause analysis via 8D, 5Why, PDCA, and A3.
• Ability to mentor and develop colleagues.
• Experience integrating new product production or process improvements.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainment/improvement activities for Epox Processes.
• Perform failure analysis and fatigue testing on molded products.
• Develop sustainable processing methods with mistake-proofing.
• Advance processing techniques to support growth and cost savings.
• Oversee equipment development, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Establish process controls and train personnel.
• Conduct process audits with Quality and molding teams.
• Prepare reports and present engineering findings.
