G&W Electric Co in Bolingbrook, IL seeks an Advanced Manufacturing Engineer II to lead cross-functional projects that improve safety, quality, delivery and cost by eliminating waste in production.

You will manage engineering projects, develop new equipment and processes, ensure manufacturability, participate in design reviews, and drive Industry 4.0 and advanced automation initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
• 5+ years total experience.
• Computer proficient; comfortable with data analysis programs.
• Experience with root cause analysis techniques.

Responsibilities

• Manage Manufacturing Engineering projects with detailed plans, hours, and timelines for development, production, validation, and launch.
• Oversee R&D of new manufacturing equipment, processes, SOPs, and work instructions.
• Improve processes by reviewing engineering deliverables for technical accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Work with Design Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure manufacturability and participate in design reviews.
• Lead or participate in New Product launches and provide manufacturability and cost improvements.
