Bachelor’s in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering and 3–5+ years in materials processing are required, with strong DOE experience and mentoring ability.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering or Materials science.
• 3–5+ years in materials processing.
• Strong DOE and statistical analysis experience.
• Experience with polymer rheology and failure analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainment/improvement activities related to Process Engineering.
• Actively participate in COQ (Quality) problem solving projects for Epox Processes.
• Develop sustainable processing methods and mistake-proofing within workcells.
• Drive advancement of processing techniques for cost savings and growth.
• Review engineering deliverables for technical accuracy and adherence to standards.
• Support data collection systems for BI reporting and analytics.
• Establish process controls and train personnel for optimal use.
• Develop and conduct process audits with Quality and molding departments.
• Mentor engineers and support staff to high performance.
• Prepare and deliver Process Engineering presentations.
