Job summary

G&W Electric Co. in Bolingbrook, IL seeks a Process Engineer II to sustain and improve Epox molding processes, driving cost savings and quality metrics in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.

You will lead DOE and data-driven improvement projects, mentor engineers, and collaborate with manufacturing, quality, and maintenance to deliver world-class processes and reliable product performance. Knowledge of thermoset polymers and molding is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering with 3–5+ years in materials processing.
• Strong DOE and A/B testing experience.
• Knowledge of polymer rheology and testing methods (DSC, TGA, DMA).
• Experience with failure analysis and data-driven problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Lead sustainment/improvement activities for Epox processes and related COQ projects.
• Perform failure analysis and fatigue testing for molded products.
• Drive processing improvements and mistake-proofing within workcells; oversee new equipment development.
• Develop process audits and track key performance metrics across projects.
