Job summary

Restek Corporation in Bellefonte, PA seeks a Process Engineer I in electromechanical engineering to join a hands-on, growth-oriented team. You will work with senior engineers to improve processes, bring new products to life, and own projects from day one, contributing to safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will collaborate across departments, document experiments, and mentor others as processes evolve.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Proficiency with CAD (SolidWorks) and EDA (Altium) and programming environments.
• Knowledge of Six Sigma and Lean continuous improvement methods.
• Experience with machined components, CNC, 3D printing, mechanical assembly, SMT and electronic assembly.

Responsibilities

• Keep production running safely and smoothly with guidance from a manager or senior engineer.
• Assist in evaluating and scaling up manufacturing technologies and processes, running experiments and collecting data.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and helping develop and roll out solutions.
• Own documentation by writing experiment and procedure notes and sharing results cross-functionally.
• Train manufacturing personnel on new procedures, equipment, materials, and testing standards.
