Job summary

Restek is hiring a Process Engineer I on either Chemical Engineering or Electromechanical Engineering track. You’ll work alongside experienced engineers to solve real production challenges, bring new products to life, and see your improvements impact safety, quality, and productivity from day one.

This is a hands‑on, growth‑oriented role for an early‑career engineer who wants mentorship without micromanagement, with true ownership of projects while learning from senior engineers and managers who

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in chemical engineering or equivalent
• Statistical analysis and continuous improvement knowledge (Six Sigma, Lean)
• Safety-first mindset in the lab
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• CAD experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Keep production running safely and smoothly.
• Help launch new and existing manufacturing technologies and processes by running experiments and collecting data.
• Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities and helping implement solutions.
• Own documentation by writing experiment/procedure reports and sharing results cross-functionally.
• Teach manufacturing personnel on new procedures, equipment, materials, and testing standards.
