Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc. in Dalton, GA is seeking a Process Sr. Engineer to guide shift and day Process Technicians and drive continuous improvement across OE, JE, safety, and quality.

Reporting to the Process General Manager, the role focuses on leading process sampling, testing, and data-driven improvements, developing training plans, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve manufacturing excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent required.
• Minimum 5+ years of related experience in process engineering or manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with analytical approach.
• Proven technical acumen in engineering and problem-solving.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical college diploma.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement methods for sampling, inspection, testing and evaluation of products.
• Initiate process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and defect analysis.
• Acquire knowledge and understanding of both front- and back-end processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define goals and improvement plans.
• Execute duties with safe work methods and maintain plant safety rules.
• Lead/drive new process and operation improvements (automation and manual) with metrics and audits.
• Assist development of technical training plans for process engineering and continuous improvement.
• Develop troubleshooting guides for maintenance and operations personnel and deploy in the plant.
• Work with EHS to lead projects that improve worker safety and minimize risk.
• Serve as change agent to drive cross-functional improvements between safety, manufacturing, and quality teams.
• Create engineering documentation such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
• Maintain regular reports to track progress on plant improvements.
• Support skill-up and mentoring of engineering staff.
