Job summary

Hanwha Q CELLS GA, Inc. in Cartersville, GA seeks a Module Sr. Process Engineer to lead the shift and day Process Technicians, providing direction and support while applying continuous improvement to enhance plant operations, safety and product quality.

You will develop sampling, inspection, testing methods, drive process improvements, and train staff in Six Sigma and Lean. You will also create PFMEA, control plans, and partner with EHS, manufacturing and quality teams to implement changes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical college diploma.
• 5+ years of relative experience in process engineering or similar.
• Proven technical acumen and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implements methods for sampling, inspection, testing and evaluation of products.
• Initiate process improvement projects to increase efficiency, reduce costs, improve quality and defect analysis.
• Execute duties while adhering to plant safety rules.
• Lead new process and operations improvements with established metrics and audits.
• Develop training plans for process engineering and continuous improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Lean, etc.).
• Develop troubleshooting guides for maintenance and operations personnel and deploy in the plant.
• Collaborate with EHS to lead projects improving worker safety and reducing incident risk.
• Drive cross-functional change between safety, manufacturing and quality resources.
• Develop engineering documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans, Work Instructions).
• Prepare regular reports to track progress and drive plant improvements.
