Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in an engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of related engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and analytical approach.
• Proven technical acumen.
• Engineering degree or equivalent technical college diploma.

Responsibilities

• Develop methods for sampling, inspection, testing and evaluation of products.
• Initiate process improvement projects to increase efficiency and quality.
• Gain knowledge of front and back-end processes and drive improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to define goals and improvement plans.
• Maintain safe work practices and comply with plant safety rules.
• Lead and implement new process improvements with measurable metrics.
• Develop training plans for process engineering and continuous improvement methods.
• Create troubleshooting guides for operations personnel and train staff.
• Partner with EHS to improve worker safety and reduce incident risk.
• Drive change through cross-functional teams in safety, manufacturing and quality.
• Develop and maintain engineering documentation (PFMEA, Control Plans, WIs).
• Produce regular reports to track progress and drive plant improvements.
• Support skill-up of engineers through mentoring and qualification efforts.
• Plan process tasks and align team goals.
• Adhere to Hanwha Q CELLS USA, Inc. policies and procedures.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
