Job summary

The Kinetic Group is seeking a Process Engineer based in Lonoke, Arkansas. You will plan, manage and coordinate projects to develop new processes, improve production efficiencies and resolve manufacturing challenges.

You will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Manager and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to drive cost improvements and capital projects, while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 2+ years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem solving ability.
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations and lean principles.
• Hands-on experience with machining and manufacturing equipment.
• SolidWorks or CAD knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Initiate process changes and improvements, maintain process records and drawings.
• Troubleshoot and resolve manufacturing issues.
• Identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Analyze production data to determine efficient utilization of resources.
• Recommend methods for improving worker efficiency and reducing waste.
• Lead engineering projects including cost improvements and capital projects.
• Write technical reports and present to management.
