Job summary

The Kinetic Group, part of the Ammo+ division, is seeking an Electrical Systems and Controls Engineer for our Lonoke, Arkansas site. You will design, implement, and support electrical systems and PLC controls for manufacturing equipment, trains, and processes, collaborating across teams to improve safety and efficiency.

Responsibilities include project coordination, system upgrades, and developing proof-of-concept applications while ensuring NEC/OSHA compliance and scalable solutions for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field.
• 5+ years’ experience in developing and supporting custom manufacturing solutions using Allen Bradley programming software, familiarity with Bosch and others.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP, and Excel.
• Experience with NEC and OSHA standards.
• Ability to analyze and solve complex problems and communicate via drawings, sketches, and proposals.
• Familiar with control systems and HMI interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Develop or support project details for new equipment, major repairs, and machinery upgrades.
• Design, implement, maintain, and improve electrical instruments, equipment, facilities, and systems for the manufacturing plant.
• Coordinate construction, installation, maintenance, support, documentation, and testing activities to ensure compliance with specifications and codes.
• Oversee electrical project efforts to ensure on-time and within-budget completion.
• Inspect installations and observe operations for conformance to design and safety standards.
• Discuss engineering projects with engineers and management to develop and trial proof of concept applications.
• Plan and implement research methodologies to apply electrical theory to projects.
• Work on scalable technologies for multiple facilities.
• Train electrical team members and troubleshoot production-line failures.
