Federal Ammunition is seeking a Process Design Engineer. The Process Design Engineer supports the design, development, implementation, and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes, equipment, and production systems. This entry-level position is ideal for recent graduates with a degree in Process Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Controls Engineering who are interested in optimizing production operations through process design, automation, and data-driven problem solving. The successful candidate will work closely with cross-functional teams including Product Development, Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and Operations to improve safety, quality, throughput, and cost performance while supporting new product introductions and capital projects. This position reports to the Director of Product Development (Shotshell and Muzzleloader) and is based out of our Anoka, Minnesota office.
Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.
Pay Range: $67,100.00 - $93,900.00 The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
