TemperPack is seeking a Process Engineer to participate in the full life cycle of new manufacturing processes and equipment. You will test, deploy, and continuously improve processes, while collaborating with R&D and operations on product development testing.
Safety leadership is emphasized across all project phases as you support throughputs and risk assessments. The role reports to the Process Engineering Manager and is based in Las Vegas, NV.
Role Summary: As a Process Engineer you will participate in the full life cycle of novel and innovative manufacturing processes and equipment. Your role will focus on testing, deployment and continuous improvement projects. You will also collaborate with the team on the invention, prototyping, development, installation, and testing of processes and mechanical systems. At all times, you will provide safety leadership by observing and adhering to safety regulations throughput all project phases.
TemperPack is a rapidly growing company based in Richmond, Virginia and with locations in Las Vegas Nevada, and Lansing, Michigan. We design and manufacture innovative, sustainable packaging components for cold-chain shipping of food and pharmaceutical products. The markets we serve have an urgent need for disruptive, sustainable alternatives to replace the wide array of non-sustainable packaging materials conventionally used in the cold-chain such as Styrofoam coolers.
