Job Description: We are seeking an Operations Coordinator to support daily manufacturing operations through data analysis, performance reporting, systems management, and cross-functional coordination. This role will work closely with Production, Planning, Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, and Leadership to provide accurate operational reporting, identify trends, support continuous improvement initiatives, and ensure key plant priorities are effectively tracked and executed.

The Operations Coordinator will play an important role in maintaining and improving the systems used to manage plant performance, maintenance, and document control. This individual should be highly organized, comfortable working with manufacturing data, and capable of turning operational information into clear and actionable reporting. Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft platforms is critical, along with the ability to work within systems such as Power BI, Redzone, Asset Essentials, and Inolex.

Essential Job Functions:
  • Collect, monitor, and validate production data from multiple manufacturing systems
  • Monitor daily manufacturing KPIs including OEE, production rates, downtime, labor efficiency, scrap, quality metrics, and schedule attainment
  • Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly manufacturing reports
  • Create and maintain dashboards and visual reporting using Microsoft Excel and Power BI
  • Analyze production trends and identify opportunities for operational and continuous improvement
  • Investigate data discrepancies and partner with Operations to improve data accuracy and reporting consistency
  • Support continuous improvement projects through data analysis, project tracking, and follow-up
  • Utilize Redzone to support production reporting, performance tracking, downtime analysis, and identification of improvement opportunities
  • Support Asset Essentials utilization including preventative maintenance reporting, work-order tracking, equipment history, and maintenance KPI visibility
  • Support Inolex document control including procedures, work instructions, forms, and other controlled plant documentation
  • Maintain manufacturing databases, reporting systems, and standardized tracking tools
  • Standardize reporting processes across departments and shifts
  • Develop new reports, dashboards, and tracking tools as business needs evolve
  • Coordinate and track plant projects, action items, timelines, and key operational initiatives
  • Assist leadership with preparation for operational reviews, meetings, presentations, and audits
  • Present manufacturing trends, findings, and recommendations to plant leadership
  • Support audits by providing required manufacturing records, documentation, and performance data
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure action items are clearly assigned, tracked, and driven to completion
QualificationsEducation and Experience:
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, and reporting
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft platforms including Outlook, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint
  • Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization and reporting tools
  • Ability to learn and effectively utilize manufacturing platforms including Redzone, Asset Essentials, and Inolex
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing KPIs including OEE, downtime, labor efficiency, scrap, quality, and schedule attainment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify trends and translate data into actionable information
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively across Production, Maintenance, Quality, Engineering, Planning, and Leadership
  • Strong follow-through with the ability to independently track assignments and drive action items to completion
  • Comfortable spending time on the manufacturing floor to understand processes, validate information, and support operational needs
  • Ability to identify opportunities to simplify and improve reporting, systems, and administrative processes
Experience:
  • 2+ years of manufacturing, operations, data analytics, or related experience preferred
  • Experience collecting, analyzing, and reporting manufacturing or operational data preferred
  • Experience developing reports and dashboards using Microsoft Excel, Power BI, or similar platforms preferred
  • Experience with manufacturing systems such as Redzone, Asset Essentials, CMMS, ERP, or document-control platforms preferred
  • Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives or cross-functional projects preferred
Education and Certifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business, Operations, Data Analytics, or related field preferred
  • Relevant Microsoft Excel, Power BI, continuous improvement, or data analytics certifications are a plus
Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to be on feet for extended periods as needed
  • Ability to work in both office and manufacturing environments
  • Ability to reach, bend, kneel, and navigate production areas as needed
  • Ability to work in hot and cold environments
  • Ability to wear required PPE while working within manufacturing areas
  • Ability to safely navigate an active manufacturing facility
