Position Description

Reporting to the VP of Integration, the Process Development Manager will play a key role in post-acquisition integration, working closely with newly acquired companies to document, analyze, and standardize operational processes. The ideal candidate will be results-driven, with a strong background in manufacturing and Lean/Continuous Improvement methodologies. Familiarity with process documentation tools such as process maps, swim-lane diagrams, kanban, SIPOC analysis, Value-Stream Mapping, and Business Process Model and Notation is essential. The manager will collaborate across functions to identify improvement opportunities and ensure alignment with corporate standards and best practices.

Responsibilities
  1. Partner with newly acquired companies to understand and document existing manufacturing, operational, and business processes.
  2. Assess current operations and identify opportunities for standardization, optimization, and integration into corporate workflows.
  3. Lead process mapping, gap analysis, and root cause analysis using Lean, Six Sigma, or other CI tools.
  4. Facilitate cross-functional workshops to design future-state processes and secure stakeholder buy-in.
  5. Develop and implement scalable process improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.
  6. Create SOPs, work instructions, and process documentation for training and knowledge transfer.
  7. Collaborate with Finance & Operations, Supply Chain, IT, Commercial, and HR teams for seamless process integration.
  8. Track and report progress on initiatives using KPIs and project management tools.
  9. Support change management efforts, including communication, training, and stakeholder engagement.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field; Master’s preferred.
  2. 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, process engineering, or continuous improvement roles.
  3. Proven experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or similar methodologies, including process mapping and SOP development.
  4. Proficiency with tools like Visio, Minitab, or other process modeling software.
  5. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven approach.
  6. Experience managing multi-site processes.
  7. Willingness to travel up to 50% to acquired sites.
