Job summary

Brayton Energy in New Hampshire seeks a Process Development Engineer to join our R&D team, developing and documenting processes, including QA, for high-temperature compact heat exchanger prototypes used in advanced energy projects.

You will coordinate with engineering and supply-chain staff, support from proposal planning to post-contract execution, and help transfer manufacturing technology for scalable production while working with customers to meet objectives.

Qualifications

Engineering degree from an ABET-accredited institution is required.
Experience in manufacturing, fabrication techniques, mechanical assembly and technical drawing interpretation.
3+ years of production management or manufacturing engineering experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with heat exchanger designers and R&D staff to meet project objectives.
Assist with project planning in the proposal phase and after contract award.
Coordinate selection, installation, and commissioning of new capital equipment.
Design tooling to improve processing efficiency and accuracy.
Prepare work instructions and ERP routing to record execution time and cost.
Develop production scenarios considering growth, financial exposure, and schedule.
