Reliable Controls Corporation in Utah seeks a Process Controls Engineer II to deliver control logic for defined subsystems, develop PLC code (ladder logic and function blocks), prepare control narratives, and assist with FAT/SAT. The role partners with commissioning teams to ensure logic performs as intended in the field.

With 2–4 years of experience, you’ll align RCC standards with industry practices. You will travel domestically and internationally, support testing, document configurations,

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
• 2–4 years of experience in process control engineering.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
• Ability to possess a passport for international travel.

Responsibilities

• Develops logic for subsystems under supervision.
• Supports testing and validation of logic blocks, alarms, and interlocks.
• Assists with FAT/SAT execution and system troubleshooting.
• Documents configuration for PLCs, HMIs, and remote IO.
• Interfaces with field teams to confirm functionality.
• Participates in loop testing and control system walkdowns.
• Familiar with RCC’s control standards and commissioning practices.
• Hands-on support for commissioning/start-up activities.
