Job summary

O-i Glass is seeking an experienced electrical controls engineer for its Bowling Green, KY facility. You will design, develop, and maintain control systems to drive safety, quality, and performance in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include PID/PLC/HMI management, risk analysis, and collaboration with MAGMA and IT teams. Strong Siemens/Allen-Bradley experience and 13.8kV switchgear knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field

Responsibilities

• Drive safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement across the line
• Monitor processes with contractors and vendors to improve electrical and control systems
• Manage PID, PLC and HMI programs across production lines with MAGMA resources
• Lead problem solving using data analytics (TrendMiner, IBA preferred)
• Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, ANSI/ISA95, S88
• Troubleshoot and program PLCs; design HMI interfaces (Siemens/Allen-Bradley; TIA Portal, Studio 5000)
• Lead medium voltage switchgear work; 13.8kV experience
• Train electrical teammates on NFPA 70E and electrical safety
