Job summary

O-i Glass is seeking an experienced electrical controls engineer for its Bowling Green, KY facility. You will design, develop, and maintain control systems to drive safety, quality, and performance in a 24/7 manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities include PID/PLC/HMI management, risk analysis, and collaboration with MAGMA and IT teams. Strong Siemens/Allen-Bradley experience and 13.8kV switchgear knowledge are required.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required in electrical engineering, computer science, or related field

Responsibilities

Drive safety, quality, productivity and continuous improvement across the line
Monitor processes with contractors and vendors to improve electrical and control systems
Manage PID, PLC and HMI programs across production lines with MAGMA resources
Lead problem solving using data analytics (TrendMiner, IBA preferred)
Ensure compliance with NFPA 70E, ANSI/ISA95, S88
Troubleshoot and program PLCs; design HMI interfaces (Siemens/Allen-Bradley; TIA Portal, Studio 5000)
Lead medium voltage switchgear work; 13.8kV experience
Train electrical teammates on NFPA 70E and electrical safety
