Chevron Phillips Chemical Company is seeking a Process Control Engineer based in Borger, TX. You will apply expertise in process control to improve safety, reliability, and operating efficiency across CPChem facilities.

You will design and implement advanced control strategies, work with Emerson DeltaV, and influence key performance indicators for plant optimization. You will collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams, participate in instrument loop checkouts, and help maintain control-system

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
3 years relevant experience in a refinery or chemical plant
Can read and understand design documents (P&IDs, instrument loop drawings, schematics)
Basic knowledge of industrial control systems
Experience reading control logic diagrams
Programming experience

Responsabilités

Reviews technical specifications, design guides, and user manuals
Assists in checkout of instrument control loops in existing plants or plant expansions
Monitors control system health and performs maintenance service
Calibrates systems and documents changes for as-built documentation
Collects data using CMMS or other data sources
Contributes to developing preventive maintenance
Supports the instrument database and related tooling
