Job summary

Adient Riverside, MO, is seeking an Automation Engineer to lead plant-level automation standards, design governance, and lifecycle management. You will own automation concepts, review designs, and drive launch readiness while coordinating with maintenance, IT/OT, safety, and quality teams to ensure safe, compliant, and production-ready systems.

You will oversee ROI analysis, vendor selection, and project execution for automation initiatives, with a focus on achieving stable production

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, mechatronics, controls, or related engineering discipline.

Responsibilities

• Define, maintain, and enforce plant automation standards and design specs across manufacturing lines.
• Lead automation capital projects, including business cases, supplier management, schedules, and commissioning.
• Drive continuous improvement: RCA, OEE tracking, and deployment of standardized automation solutions.
