Job summary

Amazon in Woodbury, Minnesota is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily department duties, manage labor, and assist in safety initiatives. You will help with meetings, assign tasks, and communicate with internal and external suppliers while covering for area managers when needed.

The role requires standing up to 12 hours, lifting up to 49 pounds, weekend/night/holiday work, and a 40-hour week with overtime as needed. Starting pay is $25.00 per hour with standard benefits from Day 1.

Qualifications

  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

  • Support and work in the department as required
  • Help support daily management of department duties, including allocating labor, leading meetings, assigning job duties, and communicating with internal and external suppliers
  • Provide vacation coverage for Area Managers
  • Follow policy, track attendance (duties do not extend to discipline)
  • Track and report ATS/labor hours
  • Assist the floor as an associate resource, train associates and verify SOP compliance
  • Ensure successful area performance through tracking, reporting, and feedback of associate performance
  • Participate in Operational Excellence initiatives in some capacity
  • Fill in as needed with production duties
  • Fully understand workflow and daily production goals
  • Review and update SOP as required
  • Assist in keeping work area clean and organized
  • Identify and address safety hazards within the work area
  • Coach associates to work safely at all times
  • Participate in safety initiatives
  • Refer all job injuries immediately to the area manager

Basic Qualifications
  • 1+ years of Microsoft Office products and applications experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays
  • Can lift up to 49 pounds, stand/walk during shifts lasting up to 12 hours, and be able to frequently push, pull, squat, bend, and reach
  • Work 40 hours/week, and overtime as required

  • Are 21 years of age or older

The starting pay for this position is listed below including the base pay rate plus the highest available shift differential which applies depending on the shift you select. As a total compensation company, you are eligible for additional earnings including overtime pay and performance bonuses. Final pay will be based on factors including shift selection and location.
