Job summary

Quad City Gastroenterology is seeking a full-time Procedure Scheduler to join the team. The role involves scheduling office and ASC medical procedures, coordinating with providers and staff to ensure efficient scheduling and patient flow.

The Scheduler will confirm patient insurance, provide detailed preparation and arrival information, and support management of the scheduling process in a healthcare ambulatory setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 1+ years of procedure scheduling experience. Healthcare background required.
• Proficiency with office equipment, including computers, scanners, electronic faxes, and typing skills.
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems.
• Medical Assistants encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Schedule office and ASC medical procedures, coordinating with providers and staff.
• Schedule diagnostic and imaging tests.
• Ensure maximum efficiency of the schedule.
• Confirm patient insurance and provide test prep and arrival details.
