Job summary

Sutter Health is seeking a dedicated scheduler to regulate and maintain patient appointments across interventional radiology, imaging, and related procedures. The role requires organization, empathy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.

The ideal candidate has solid communication skills, is comfortable with scheduling software, and can work in a fast-paced clinical setting with attention to patient care and teamwork.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience preferred

EDUCATION:

• HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:

• 2 years of recent experience.

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

• Organizational and multi-tasking skills.
• Intermediate computer skills to include keyboarding, mouse movement, data entry and scheduling programs.
• Verbal/written communication skills for frequent and challenging contact with physicians, employees, patients and patient families; requires patience and compassion.
• Ability to effectively organize and prioritize tasks in order to complete assignments within the time allotted and maintain standard workflow.
• Ability to work with others in a flexible and cooperative manner.
• Ability to maintain composure during challenging interpersonal interactions.
• Active listening skills; including interpersonal skills and telephone communication.
• Applies moderate mental application and concentration to handle multiple procedures and interruptions throughout the day.

Pay Range is $24.64 to $34.49 / hour. California - Bay Area Pay Range Pay Range is $34.00 to $47.59 / hour. California - Valley Area Pay Range Pay Range is $29.56 to $41.38 / hour.

The posted pay range is based on the position's primary work location. Candidates who reside and work outside of that location may be subject to a different pay range based on their work location. Candidate starting salaries consider multiple factors, including, but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure, certifications, departmental equity, training, and organizational needs.
