Job summary

Providence imaging locations are seeking a clinical receptionist to support patient flow and coordinate scheduling across locations. Working with patients, physicians, and staff, you will deliver prompt, courteous service and manage appointment scheduling for radiology services.

Under limited supervision, you will also provide coverage for the radiologist reading room and help sustain our patient-centered care culture that Providence is known for throughout Orange, CA.

Qualifications

• Two years of clerical, administrative, or customer service experience required.
• Medical terminology certification preferred upon hire.

Job description

Responsible for clinical receptionist activities for all Imaging locations. The Procedural Scheduler, with limited supervision, will be responsible for working with patients, physicians, medical office personnel and hospital staff in a prompt, courteous manner. They will also schedule patients presenting for services at any of the locations within their scope. This position will also provide coverage for the radiologist reading room.

Required Qualifications

• Two (2) years clerical, administrative, or customer service experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Medical terminology certification upon hire
• Healthcare or Hospital experience.
• Insurance eligibility and verification experience.
• One (1) year experience scheduling radiographic procedures.
