Job summary

Florida Southern Probation and Pretrial Services seeks a Probation Services Technician to provide technical, administrative, and clerical support to officers and assistants. You will compile histories, monitor low risk caseloads, and maintain records in PACTS and related systems.

The role requires organizing, confidentiality, and strong communication. Familiarity with CJIS, Accurint, and automated records is highly valued; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; generalized and specialized experience preferred.
• Ability to manage confidential information and handle multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Experience using standard office software and court support procedures.

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative low risk caseload and assist probation officers with case files.
• Enter and verify records in PA CTS and other databases; prepare reports for the court.
• Communicate with officers, agencies, and supervised individuals while maintaining confidentiality.
