Job summary

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP in Boca Raton is seeking a probate-focused paralegal or administrative assistant to join our Estate Planning team. You will work closely with attorneys and clients through the probate process, preparing deeds and probate forms, and organizing assets.

Responsibilities include communicating with clients, personal representatives, trustees, family members, and beneficiaries; reviewing financial statements; and assisting with valuations.

Qualifications

• Prior probate, trusts, and estates experience in Florida as a paralegal or administrative assistant.
• Excellent math and computer skills with proficiency in Florida e-filing.
• Strong communication, organization, attention to detail, and ability to multitask in a busy practice.

Responsibilities

Role Description

• Desirable skills include prior probate, trusts, and estates experience in Florida as a paralegal or administrative assistant; familiarity with the probate process and rules; excellent math and computer skills, proficiency with Florida courts e-filing; familiarity with federal estate tax returns; strong communication and organization skills; detail oriented and self-motivated; understand prioritization and client service; and multi-task in a busy practice.
