Job summary

Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough is seeking an experienced Paralegal in our Boca Raton office to support attorneys handling trust and probate matters.

As a key member of the Estate Planning team, you will communicate with clients, personal representatives, trustees, family members, and beneficiaries; prepare deeds, probate forms, pleadings, inventories, and asset transfer documents; and assist with asset valuations and document review of financial statements.

Qualifications

• Experience in probate, trusts and estates in Florida.
• Proficiency with Florida courts e-filing.
• Strong math and computer skills.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
• Detail oriented with prioritization and client service.
• Ability to multi-task in a busy practice.

Nelson Mullins, an AmLaw 100 firm, is seeking an experienced Paralegal in our Boca Raton office. This position supports attorneys handling a range of trust and probate matters.

As a key member of our Estate Planning team, you’ll work closely with attorneys and clients throughout the probate process. Your responsibilities will include communicating with clients, personal representatives, trustees, family members, and beneficiaries; preparing deeds, probate forms, pleadings, inventories, and asset transfer documents; organizing and analyzing assets and assisting with valuations; and reviewing information from bank, brokerage, and other financial statements.

Desirable skills include prior probate, trusts, and estates experience in Florida as a paralegal or administrative assistant; familiarity with the probate process and rules; excellent math and computer skills, proficiency with Florida courts e-filing; familiarity with federal estate tax returns; strong communication and organization skills; detail oriented and self-motivated; understand prioritization and client service; and multi-task in a busy practice.
