Job summary

Georgia-Pacific LLC is seeking a Maintenance Planner to support Savannah, GA operations. The role focuses on proactive planning, scoping, estimation, and readiness to ensure smooth maintenance execution.

The planner will use CMMS to manage equipment data, update BOMs, and develop standard maintenance procedures. Ideal candidates have 3 years of maintenance technician experience, familiarity with CMMS and MS Office, and prior planning in manufacturing, industrial, or military settings.

Qualifications

• 3 years maintenance technician experience.
• Experience planning within manufacturing, industrial, or military environments.
• Experience using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, MS Project).

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance work with proper scoping, estimation and readiness before start of work.
• Support execution by planning, estimating and staging/kitting parts for work orders.
• Validate parts for accuracy prior to kitting/staging.
• Develop and optimize standard maintenance plans (SMP).
• Catalog new parts and submit stock requests for job plans.
• Use CMMS to manage equipment data and update BOM for assets.
• Identify opportunities for improvements.
• Maintain essential maintenance records and files.
• Scope work for routine, down day, and outage activities.
• Oversee down day and outage work; work on-call hours as required.
